Gardening

Not much new here.  The weather has been crazy.  Most days are cloudy and stay below 70.  Today we finally had a beautiful day, so my mom came over to help me weed the gardens.

Jake was a great helper! He was weeding and trying to use the tools.  Cal sat in his bouncy seat and enjoyed the fresh air.  I didn't do much of the work, I was on kid duty.  My mom did a lot, if I'm truthful, she did it all.  Next week we plan on planting more flowers to cover all the empty spots.

 We took a break in the middle of gardening to feed the boys and take a walk.  Notice the cat, he walked with us the whole time.

Yes my child is on a backpack leash.  There is no way I would ever let him walk alone down the street. This backpack helps him feel independent and forces him to exercise while staying close to me and out of harms way.
