purse seller extrodinaire

I can now sell purses. I contact my new boss and she has started setting me up. I am going to get all my purses and supplies this Saturday!!!!! Then next weekend I will be at the Hamburg Family Fun Fest with a booth full of purses. I am so excited.

But I am also stressed and overwhelmed. I have to fill out lots of paper work, and forms, start a website and create a profile on the companies website. There is so much to do and no time to do it in. Plus I am confused on how to do some of the things she wants me to do. ahhhhhhhhh

I have asked Dan to help and he could care less. All I want is to see if he can understand it better than me. What a turd. But I guess this is my business and I have to figure it out.

My first party is the 27 of June. I am having a Beach Party theme and got some supplies from my mom to make it more authentic. The party is at my house so that means lots of cleaning and rearranging things to fit in more than 20 guests. Yikes!

New job.... Hopefully

I have decided to start writing again since I have so much free time now that work cut my hours. Daniel and I are still the same. Spending the weekends with the dogs and the weekdays working. We are low on money so I got the idea to sell something from home. I love purses so I got online and signed up to be a consultant for Purse Divas. Well when the lady finally contacted me so give me this rehearsed speech about their company. She told me I would get a cut of the money and had to have 6 parties a month. No way. I don't know enough people for that. Then she told me that I would have to attend a training in NEBRASKA!! Is she freaking nuts. I have no money as it is and she wants me to buy a plane ticket for a 4 hour training. I don't think so.

So that night I spend 2 hours on the computer looking at other companies. I found one located right here in Michigan and I get all the money I make. I contacted the owner and she emailed me that night to arrange a time to talk in the morning. She called on time and told me all about the company and how I would be the only consultant in my area and I could make a ton of money. So after talking with Dan, we decided that I should do it with his help. So now I am sitting here waiting for her to call me so I can tell her the good news!!

I am really excited and I think I will do really well. I hope she calls me............

flu scare

flu, I hate it. It has been going around my center for 2 weeks now. almost everyone, including teachers has had it. I got it on Tuesday. I woke up around 4 and ran to the bathroom, but nothing came up. i did that 3 more times and i never upchucked. The whole day my stomach felt very weird and I felt extremely nauseous. I got sent home from work and sat on the couch from 11-9:30 pm. The next morning I felt better but my stomach was doing some weird gurgling stuff. I tried eating a variety of foods, but nothing settled my stomach but Ice cream. for some reason the pain always went away when i have a shake or a cone.

I let the girls know at work and they said that I could be pregnant. And that ice cream was the food i was craving. I counted my days and realized it was possible that i could be. so after work, i went to the store and bought a pregnancy test. I was so nervous. i peed on the stick and waited, holding my breath........

negative. In a way i was happy; we dont have the money to raise a kid, but i was getting excited on the way home thinking of telling everyone.

my stomach is still doing the weird gurgles, and i still dont eat very much. I had 2 shakes in the last 2 days, not good. maybe i should try the stick again......

Our newest

This is Zappa. He is the newest addition to our family. We adopted him on Valentines Day, so I guess you could call him my present. Isn't that the cutest face ever?

Ever since we adopted Lily, I noticed that she was obsessed with Dan. she would follow him everywhere, and only listen to him. I told Dan that I wanted a dog for me, that I really want a dog that will love me like Lily loves him. He said that I already had a dog and that she loves me just fine, but she never ever payed me the attention that she gave to Dan. I looked on Petfinders.com to find myself a small lap dog that I could carry around with me and he/she would be mine. Petfinders was too hard. I contacted about 5 people and they all said the same thing...... Home visit. We didn't have much luck with that last time, so I knew my only option was Last Chance, where we adopted Lily.

We went to Petsmart every weekend to look for a dog for me. I always found one I liked but Dan had a problem with each one. Valentines Day, after church we made a stop at Petsmart. They had tons of small dogs there, which is awesome because all they ever had was big dogs. There were 4 different types of Pomeranian's, and a couple of Yorkshires. I wanted a yorkie so bad, but again Dan had a problem with a dog that small, he thought he would step on it, or sit on it. We saw Zappa and went to pet him. He was very friendly and the foster mom pulled him out of the cage and we fell in love. We took him home that day.

Problem was, he had heartworms. Thoes are little worms that get into a dogs bloodstream and travel to the heart and weaken the dog. It is very hard on the dog and the operation for it is very expensive. (thats why the previous owner had to give him up) We had no idea how well he was going to recover, and my mom was pissed that we would get a dog that had a huge problem. But Zappa is great. We took him to the vet and was as healthy as a horse.

Zappa is very outgoing, and active. He tends to pee all over the house and bark at the slightest noises, but we are working on that. Him and Lily get along pretty well. They are learning to sit next to each other and they even play tug-of-war with each other. Lily is very jealous of Zappa. She now comes to me and will try and climb all over me if I am playing with Zappa.

I love him and I am so glad he came into my life. He is my little lap dog and I cannot wait to show him off to people.

Happy Birthday

Another year older......
My birthday was not what I expected this year. My morning was terrible. I felt like poo on a stick. Then we went out to look for a dog, and Dan didnt like the one I did. Then we went to GFS and the only thing I wanted there was sold out. Then we went to Best Buy and they didn't have the cds I was looking for. Then Dan wouldn't take me to Red Robin for lunch so we had Mc Donalds. I was so upset, I came home and took a nap. Then we went to my parents house, and that was much better. I got a new purse, Borders gift cards, an Ugly Doll, and an awesome cake. We had Gus's for dinner and then watched Next with Nic Cage. The whole time we watched it my brother would not stop talking and making fun of it, so it ruined the movie.

I have another dinner tonight. hopefully that goes better.

Sick times

Since the new year, almost all the children have been send home because they are sick. Not anything serious, just running noses and temps. well i knew i was going to get it, it was just a matter of time. So last week I started feeling like crap; tired, sore, exhausted, and a sore throat. It never got any worse, thank goodness, (I am known to get strep). This week Dan is sick and very crabby. He had exactly what I had only his is taking longer to heal. He is so mean and short tempered I cant stand it. He needs to get better fast because I am sick(pun intended) of his crabbiness.

Happy New Year

So I have decided to ring in the New year by going full out. I am going to have the best year. Dan and I are happily married, and have a dog that we love. We are going to work better on saving money and going out less. We also decided to stop buying things we dont need. Good luck to us!

Our New years eve was nice and relaxing. We spent the day together at our house enjoying the holiday and not worring about going places. Around 5 we went to my parents house for our New Years eve tradition. We eat lots of food and play tons of games. We all had a good time playing Apples to Apples, In a pickle and of course, the Wii. We rung in the New Year with Ben and Allisons engagement. Yep thats right, Ben proposed to Allison right as the ball was dropping and she said yes. They wont be married for a while because Ben wants to finish school so he can support her. My family was very happy for them!!!

New Years day we went to the Motorcycle show in Novi. Its basically a bunch of dudes looking at all kinds of motorcycles, atv, and other fun things. Dan loves it. Its like a toy store to him. He gets on all the bikes he likes and pretends to drive them.

After the show we went to Borders for me! Love to read, Dan got to see his bikes, I get to see my wonderland of books! Then back home to relax some more. It was a pretty good New Year. Much better than our hectic Christmas.
