Cat/dog

We received a cat from Dans friend when he was moving out of his house and couldn't take the cat with him.  His name is Carrots and he is a pretty great cat.  He is very friendly and so tolerant with Jake.  

When we first got him we agreed he would stay in the barn and we would go out there every couple of days to feed him and replenish his water.  Eventually Carrots left the barn to explore.  One really cold winter day, we brought him inside.  Well, he got used to that way of living and now comes to the window meowing to be let in.  We usually let him in the afternoons and then he goes back outside during the night.  We made him a bed and give him Lily's food and some water.

 He loves us so much now that when we go outside to play, he follows us around like a dog.  It's pretty funny to see a kid, a dog, and a cat following you around.

Today when we went for a walk I heard meowing behind me. I'm turned around, and lo and behold, Carrots is taking a walk with us!
