Failure

I had my first purse party on Sunday. It was horrible. My mom and my sister came over and helped me make and set up all the food. Dan and I moved furniture and set of tables. Then my boss came and told me how to set up the purses at someones home. After that we sat around and talked for 2 hours. People were suppose to get there at 2:00 pm: nobody arrived till after 3:30. I only had 5 people show up. None of my friends or coworkers came, none of my moms friends came, and none of Dans moms friends came. It was a god awful experience. It really hit home for me that I have no friends. All I have is Dan (who I love and helped out so much) and my family. Everyone else sucks. I invited over 30 people and only 5 turn up. I was so upset, I almost started crying. So F*** everyone else. Next time they need something from me, I am not going to do it. I am so mad.
I did sell 6 purses, so that made me feel a little better. I can't wait to have other parties. I think if other people have them, then more people would come. I hope.

I can now sell purses. I contact my new boss and she has started setting me up. I am going to get all my purses and supplies this Saturday!!!!! Then next weekend I will be at the Hamburg Family Fun Fest with a booth full of purses. I am so excited.

But I am also stressed and overwhelmed. I have to fill out lots of paper work, and forms, start a website and create a profile on the companies website. There is so much to do and no time to do it in. Plus I am confused on how to do some of the things she wants me to do. ahhhhhhhhh

I have asked Dan to help and he could care less. All I want is to see if he can understand it better than me. What a turd. But I guess this is my business and I have to figure it out.

My first party is the 27 of June. I am having a Beach Party theme and got some supplies from my mom to make it more authentic. The party is at my house so that means lots of cleaning and rearranging things to fit in more than 20 guests. Yikes!

New job.... Hopefully

I have decided to start writing again since I have so much free time now that work cut my hours. Daniel and I are still the same. Spending the weekends with the dogs and the weekdays working. We are low on money so I got the idea to sell something from home. I love purses so I got online and signed up to be a consultant for Purse Divas. Well when the lady finally contacted me so give me this rehearsed speech about their company. She told me I would get a cut of the money and had to have 6 parties a month. No way. I don't know enough people for that. Then she told me that I would have to attend a training in NEBRASKA!! Is she freaking nuts. I have no money as it is and she wants me to buy a plane ticket for a 4 hour training. I don't think so.

So that night I spend 2 hours on the computer looking at other companies. I found one located right here in Michigan and I get all the money I make. I contacted the owner and she emailed me that night to arrange a time to talk in the morning. She called on time and told me all about the company and how I would be the only consultant in my area and I could make a ton of money. So after talking with Dan, we decided that I should do it with his help. So now I am sitting here waiting for her to call me so I can tell her the good news!!

I am really excited and I think I will do really well. I hope she calls me............
